Welsh hill upgraded to mountain
A Welsh hill has been upgraded to a mountain after it was discovered its official measurement was listed incorrectly on maps.
The Ordnance Survey agreed to reclassify Mynydd Graig Goch after walkers found that instead of being 609m , it was actually 609.75m, therefore reaching the mountain status threshold by 15cm (six inches).
Nick Ravenscroft speaks to hill walker Myrddyn Pillips about why status matters.
